Out with the Old and in With the NEW...

The holiday season is nearly half way through and though Christmas is over, the waking up to the white snow made me realize there is magic in all the aspects of the holidays.  The magic for me is now using the wonderful gifts I received this Christmas and putting them to good use, such as this laptop that I received. Now I can do more blogging...:)

Back to School Basics

Every girl wants to look her best as she walks back into highschool for yet another year of homework, tests, dances, and pep rallies.  No one wants to go to school with the dark circles under their eyes that show how long they stayed up studying for that history test.  With these few pointers you will be sure to fall back into school with style.

1.Teeth Whitening Materials can go through that precious money that we all scrape to save.  Use Crest Teeth Whitning Toothpaste to get the same effect for much cheaper.  Your smile will be school picture ready in no time.

2.  Conceal those dark cirlces under your eyes with a special secret.  This will also make your eyes look bigger, adn who dosen't want that?  At the common drugstore you can purchase concealers that match your skin color and sensitivity for a relativley low price. I find that liquid concealer is the easiest to work with.  Use a small detail makeupbrush and dab a small amout of the concealer on the brush. Gently apply undernearth your eyes using upward storkes.  Make sure that you blend the concealer into your skin  to avoid funny spots under your eyes.  For a final touch add a bit of shimmer powder under your eyes up towards you temples.  This also makes your cheek bones appear higher and more defined.

3.  Before applying your makeup wash your face with a soft scrub.  Neutrogena Visibly Brighter facial wash  brighetns your skin and wakes you up.  It also has an amazing smell.  Washing your face before applying makeup also makes your face less prone to breakouts.

4.  Don't forget the lipgloss.  A fun fresh color to your lips always completes the perfect outfit.  Plum is my current favorite lipgloss color.  It fits great with any outfit and isn't too bold or too passive.
